The one thing more disconcerting about seeing a snake in the grass is going to get a shovel to kill it with and upon returning, it's not there anymore. Some may see this as a good thing, but I, on the contrary, would rather know where the snake was than knowing it's there and I just can't see it. I shall return in three weeks.

Good to see that some nice photographs of the food are finally available to the public.

Miss you guys very much. The new job is pretty good (thanks for the kind words of recommendation). Hopefully will talk soon. I'm stuck in Chicago on Thanksgiving, but I have a couple fellow transplants to drink and be merry with. Hope all is well for the whole family. Talk soon, I hope.

We would love to take a well timed trip to Oregon this winter. Let us know if you can work it into your schedule and Leigh's and we'll make it happen! Maybe you can stop through Idaho too as part of the trip. We hope to get back to Columbia again soon. We're going through Baan Sawan Tom Kha Gai withdrawal.

Okay, I think I'm mad that you didn't bring Leigh out to Oregon for the wine trip. We would have loved to have driven over to join you for at least a couple of days. They're making some of the best wine in the world in the Willamette Valley these days. Ken Wright, Domaine Drouhin and Argyle are our favorite three right now, but we keep on discovering new and exciting wineries.

I would just like to say that I have not laughed like I laughed on Saturday night in a VERY long time! I know it was a long night and a long week for everyone, but I'm SO glad I came in & I'm even more glad that B&B are willing to share their crazy stories with us! Those boyz need to go on tour...! I think it's very important to know how dangerous stand mixers can be ;~)

It was my pleasure. But why didn't my character look into the alley to discover the recently deceased cameraman? I could have solved this mystery! I could have chased down Alex's car and leapt onto the back of it, then engaged in intense hand to hand combat with the female assassin while the car veers all over the road. And don't pretend you don't have the budget for something like that, because I know the truth.
